Soroptimist International Mahikeng was founded in August 1989 by 26 women. At the 3rd meeting held on 17th October 1989, the first Executive Committee was elected where Daphne Friedman was elected as the first President of the club; 1st Vice President Kerileng Moloantwa; 2nd Vice President Camen Nathan; Treasurer Hazel Barnet; and Secretary Koni Kopane. The Club was chartered in March 1990. 

Our vision for the future is to be the rainbow in someone else’s cloud as we endeavour to realize the Mission and Vision of Soroptimist International.
